Cave In - "White Silence" review

Today I happen to hear one of the record of Cave In  "White Silence" a pure hardcore/metal album with a lot of death metal influence thru out the record. Never was a great fan of hardcore music till I came across bands like ISIS, Daughter, Cave In etc which reminded me of some of the tapes I had heard of Black Flag in the late 80's.

This record of Cave In has a lot of heavy complex riffs, intense bass guitars and noisy guitar fill ups and on the other hand a more progressive rock touch and more aggression compared to ISIS music. In the previous record they did play a lot of doom metal but this band has not stopped evolving. They come out with different sound in each of their records.

Over all "White Silence" is a pretty cool record which will take you thru all heavier part of the sounds in hardcore giving a touch from aggression to relaxation.
